Film Class.

This semester I am taking a film class at my school. I am in a group of seven which is the largest of all the groups in my class. I really like my group, at least for the most part. So, our film is set in the 1940's, in WWII. It's about a young man named William and his wife Rose and his friend John. I can't really tell you to much about it but when it is up on YouTube I will link it. 

I play the character of Rose Parker. She isn't in most of the film because it mostly takes place on the battle field.

This is Brad, he plays the character of William Parker. Brad was surprisingly a great actor and he takes direction very well.

This is Khoa, he plays John Wilkinson. I believe Khoa wants to get into acting although I think he is more of the theatre type.

This is Beth and Brittany, they play extra soldiers. Most of their scenes are either them dying or them lying there dead. They are quite good at acting dead.

This is Cassy, she is the costume, hair and makeup person and behind the scenes photographer She also is in charge of stopping the little arguments I have with Zach. She did my hair for being Rose. =)

And this is Zach, he is the Director/ Editor/ Filmer. He is amazing, and yes he makes that face, or one similar to it, in almost every picture.

So, yeah. This is what I have been doing lately. I kind of really love it. And I really love my friends.

Bussing vs. Hosting

Saturday

So today at work the two new bussers started and I was training one of them. She was really nice and I actually really enjoyed training her, and I think I am training her again tomorrow.

Yesterday was my first day bussing in a while, I've mostly been hosting lately, and I realized that I really missed bussing. I love bussing because I get to be behind the scenes and I like the group of people that I work with, don't get me wrong I love hosting too, but when I host I work wiith a very different group of people and I miss the people in the back. Tomorrow I going to let my boss know that I would like to continue bussing aswell as hosting if it is possible.

At the vet.

Tuesday

Today I finally got my 7NAP video posted. It's a day late but that is because the internet broke last night >:(
I made Nachos for dinner with baked beans and cheese and salsa. They were so yummy.

We took Remus to the vet for the first time. When we walked in the lady at the desk asked if she could hold him and then disappeared into the back office with him. Another lady walked past and said, "Don't worry we are not stealing him everyone just want to pet him."
He had to get his first shot and he was so good. He didn't even cry. It was so cute.

I fail at BEDA!

Monday

AAHHHH!!! I am a total and complete failure. I haven't blogged since Thursday! On Friday My family and I drove home from our vacation. It is a 5 and 1/2 hour drive and for most of the drive Remus decided to sleep on Toby's back.

Saturday

I basically did nothing. I bathed Remus. He did not like it.

We had a whole bunch of neighbours coming to meet the him. It was kind of annoying.

Sunday

I woke up at about nine which is pretty early for me. And I watched "Never Been Kissed", I worked for six hours yesterday which, compared to most people, isn't very long but it is the longest shift I have ever worked. There was this crazy lady who gave her server a two dollar tip, she later called to speak to a manager and we found out that it was because she thought the server was flirting with her husband, apperantly she is that insecrure in her marriage.  

Today I am going to make a video for 7NAP and then hopefully do something with my day other than just sit around. I also have to do laundry and I found a whole bunch of change in my room so i am going to count it.

Went shopping and got a puppy.

Thursday

Today we went to Pembroke to go to the mall there. I bought a cute colour of nail polish it is a light green. We also bought some school supplies. Yay.

We had banana pancakes for dinner and Bridget made me vegetarian mini sausages. It was a very yummy meal.

And the most exciting part, we got our new puppy. His name is Remus James Wilken, he is so cute and very sleepy right now. My sister found out that she could sing him to sleep. She was singing "Sweet Baby James" to him. It was so cute.

Farm adventure and Leaky Con.

Wednesday

Today we went into town and I bought a cute copper ring. We went to joe's friends farm and we saw a whole bunch of chickens and a huge pig and I mean huge, this pig was bigger than me. It was so cute though, I wanted to hug him. :) We also saw three smaller pigs and a miniature horse. There where also cows and a llama but we didn't get to pet them.

After the farm we went to a chinese buffet, it was pretty good but almost everything had meat in it, so I didn't eat much there.

My sister and I are planning our trip to orlando next summer for Leaky Con and I am excited. When we get home from vacation and we have our computers. We are going to book the hotel room and buy the tickets. We decided that we are going to drive there since it is only about a 21 1/2 hour drive but we aren't going to drive the whole trip at once, we are going to make a couple stops and travel over a few days.

Craft Galleries and Veggie Burgers. (BEDA day 3)

Tuesday

Today we wandered around a couple craft galleries. I didn't get much however I did get a cool pencil that is made out of a stick, and we went out for lunch at a cute lake side restaurant where I had a delicious veggie burger and fries. Then for dinner I had two veggie burgers at Bridget and Joe's. :)

We also went to an old fashioned candy store in town and bought lots of candy. We had taffy and sour candies that fizz.

Joe took me for driving practice and he decided to crank the music really loud, we were listening to Lady Gaga, it was fun.

Tomorrow we are going to Joe and Bridget's friends farm and the have all kinds of animals, I will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Days til I get my puppy: 2

Puppy!! (BEDA Day 2)

Monday.

So remember yesterday when I was talking about looking at puppies but we weren't going to get one, well, we are getting one! He is a mix between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Saint Bernard, he has beautiful golden fur and he loves to have his belly rubbed. We are naming him Remus. I don't have a picture right now, but we are taking Remus home on thursday so I will show you him then if not sooner. :)

So my mom and our friend Joe have been teaching my sister and I to drive, it's been going pretty well. I am actually a good driver except I sometimes hug the shoulder of the road, but it is getting better. :)

First day of BEDA!

So I decided to do BEDA! Yay!

Today my mom, my sister and I went to bonnechere caves in Egenville Ontario. We had been there a few years ago we I was a child. It was cool, the walls of the cave were wet because of ground water, and at one point we were 90 feet underground. Unfortunately we did not see any bats, they apparently are in the cave more often in the fall. I think we will have to go back in the fall.

We just got back from this guys farm where he had puppies. I really wanted one of the black and white ones, he was so cute and softand loving, but my mom wouldn't let me have one :(

Bus trips are awkward!

Ok so it's been a while. Sorry about that.

Right now I'm on a bus going to a friends house and I just realized that this is the first bus I've ever taken alone. I usually have someone else with me. Basically I have to take the bus because my other choice was to wake up before 8 am and have mom drive me there before she went to work.

There is this guy sitting in front of me and every time I look at the front of the bus I think he thinks I'm staring at him. Haha.

Also I accidentally just touch some guys foot with my foot. Haha awkward!

I've kind of missed blogging. I will have to start actually updating this more often.

Hi! Um... this is weird. I haven't done this in a while.

So Today I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with my sister, my mom, my best friend Christine. my aunt Joan and my aunt Grace. It was such a good movie. I loved the opening with Honor Society.

I had two shifts on Saturday A cleaning shift in the morning and a regular shift in the evening. In the morning Brandon and I spent about two hours sitting on the floor scrubbing the base boards and the chair legs to get scuff marks off of them. It was weird.

So this post is going to be short because I don't know what else to say and I want to go to sleep.

Blogging in Class.

So I'm in MSIP and I don't have any work to do, so I decided to update.

You're prbably wondering what MSIP is. It's basically a period that we are suppose to use to catch up n homework and such.

In english class we have to write an in class essay about Romeo and Julliet. I'm doing mine on true love vs. infatuation. I don't like in class essays, I always get writers block.

There are four other girls in the computer lab right now, there all in grade nine and the keep staring at me. Also they keep speaking in french, I think they are trying to make me think that they are talking about me, but I know enough french to know that they're not talking about me.

On Monday I had to drink half a glass of maple syrup for a video. It was awful and when I was editing the video it was making me sick. It was actually really funny.

Oh wow, one of the girls just asked if the northern lights are real. Haha, I wanted to explain it to her but her friend gave me a dirty look.

Oh and today is Wednesday so that means there should be a video from Meg on 7NAP. =)

So people I know who don't know that I'm into everything Youtube realated, have been coming up lately and we have conversations like this:

Them: So I found this awesome person on Youtube you should look up his videos there really funny.

Me: Who is it?

Them: Dave Days. He does parodies of songs.

Me: Ya I know. I been subscribed to him for more than a year.

Them: Oh....

I love how people think they can name popular Youtubers without me knowing who they are.

So usually I can never find anything with my name on it, because my name is Jessie and not Jessica, but my mom found a t-shirt with my name on it and it is the most exiting thing ever! A lady at here work was wearing it one day and my mom said that we can never find anything like that and so the next day she gave the shirt to my mom! Yay!=)

What a strange day.

Today has been sort of a weird day. I woke up at twelve and went on the computer and Christine invited me to go skating. There were way too many people there. It was so crowded. I made Christine tie my skates because I'm bad at it.
We played with her dog Pogo and found out that he is afraid of my rainbow coloured boots. It was so cute, he started barking at them.

I didn't really do much else today. However about an hour ago my right eyelid started getting kind of puffy. I hope I'm not having an allergic reaction to something, I don't think I'm allergic to anything but what else would cause it?

Tomorrow we have to go back to school and I'm not looking forward to it.

I have to make a video tomorrow and I think I have to drink maple syrup. This is going to be awful. We have a new Wednesday person, her name is Meg. She seems nice, I think we're all really excited to have her.

My First Post

So my name is Jessie, and no it's not short for Jessica, it's just Jessie.
I'm 15 years old and have a sister, Emily, who is 18. We have all the same interests and spend way to much time together which causes us to fight.
She really quick witted, which I'm not so I usually resort to kicking and swearing.

I have a dog named Toby, he is a chocolate lab, an I have two birds. One is a quaker parrot named Jester, and the other is a white dove name Dovey. (I know clever name right.)

I love the internet. Everything about it. I'm obsessed with Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and now I'm starting a blog.

I don't have much of a social life outside of school hours because I don't let people get close to me. Letting people in scares me because I'm afraid that they won't like me and so I put up a wall which usually ends up driving people away (like all the friends I had last year).

The only person I've ever let in is my best friend Christine. Who I have known for longer than I can remember. She understands how I feel about letting people in and we can talk about anything. I think I'm even more guarded around my family than I am with her.

I have a job as a busser at a restaurant. It's one of those fancy restaurants and I have to wear a tie. I actually like our uniform even though all the other bussers complain about it. I love how all the managers wear suits. They're all so pretty.
The people I work with are really cool. They make me so happy.
The other bussers are all the kind of people I envy. They're funny and outgoing and they are all social butterflies.
But the only one I really talk to is Candice. She's really nice. She's six months older than me but we are almost complete opposites. She's really pretty and wears makeup and perfume and loves to shop and buys expensive things and even though I don't do any of though things we get along really well.
Lisa and Evie kind of scares me. I never know what to say to them and they never really talk to me unless they are correcting me on something or asking me to do something.
Allie I think I've had like two conversations with so I don't even know about her.
Brandon is amazing. He's like 6'3" and he's so funny. He's one of those people who has like an aura of happiness around him and he makes everyone near him smile. I get along with him pretty well.
Kalan doesn't talk to me and I don't know why.
And Evan is more of a host than a busser now, but either way he doesn't talk to me unless he is asking me to set a table.

Going to work is usually the most social interaction I have so I will probably write about it a lot.
